Yankees Taught Not To Act Like Cam Newton When Dealing With Defeat

The Yankees showed their players video of Newton’s and Russell Wilson’s Super Bowl press conferences after losing in the big game, according to ESPN:

Newton, of course, was ripped for abruptly leaving his press conference after Super Bowl 50, an act some saw as a sign of sore losing and disrespect. Wilson, on the other hand, answered every question and took the blame for the loss to the Patriots a year ago.

The Yankees know the competitive New York media market would have a heyday if Alex Rodriguez and company walked out during a presser, so thanks to some media training the PR department hopefully won’t have to deal with any controversies this season.
