Singleton was a guest on NBC’s “Today” show on Monday, and as if meeting special guest host John Cena wasn’t cool enough, he got a special surprise from several members of the Yankees.

Alex Rodriguez, Brett Gardner and Dellin Betances showed up to the set to surprise Singleton as part of the organization’s seventh annual “Hope Week,” an event that recognizes individuals and organizations that inspire others to do good.

Singleton also found out he will get the chance to throw out the first pitch at the Yankees’ home game against the Twins on Monday night.

UPDATE: Singleton delivered a strike to Yankees outfielder Chris Young.
