xQc initially started his career as an Overwatch pro player, initially playing as part of the Dallas Fuel in the Overwatch League, though the streamer was released due to repeated cases of controversy and suspensions. Despite this release, xQc proved to be a popular personality within the gaming community, and switched over to full time streaming in 2019. By October 2019, xQc was the most watched streamer on Twitch, and today he is still a titan of the platform and an incredibly popular streamer, despite multiple Twitch bans over the course of his career.

With xQc’s popularity, and his outspoken nature, there is little reason why he often ends up in the news or engaging with other personalities on social media. Often, xQc responds to or critiques events in gaming, streaming, or the people involved in either occupation. Fellow streamer Asmongold recently received criticism from xQc for his statements on gambling. This kind of drama is fairly common on Twitch though, as streamers often discuss each other as topics for their own streams.
In a crossover few expected though, the Twitch personality recently responded to famous Chef Gordon Ramsay after the latter said “Hey @Twitch can I get a lesson on what you are ??” This led to the internet community quickly responding to the chef, with a few streamers offering to lend their support in learning the platform. xQc though, responded by saying “I’ll give you a free rundown. Call me on my cell. Americas next master streamer? PauseChamp.” This was the second most liked reply to Ramsay’s initial tweet.
Fans of both the chef and the streamer flooded to hype up the proposed collaboration between both personalities, and Ramsay even responded to xQc’s reply, stating “You mean Next Level Streamer,” referring to xQc’s comment of “Americas next master streamer.” This is not the only recent case of xQc interacting with a celebrity though. Alongside the aforementioned conversation with Lil Uzi Vert, the actor who played Trevor in Grand Theft Auto V recently sent a message to xQc’s character in GTA RP, one of the most popular games played by the streamer.
