The Xbox Ultimate Game Sale begins on Tuesday, July 5, and will run until Monday, July 11. Discounts will be applied to Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows 10 games, with games available for up to 85% off. Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to get the games even cheaper, with an additional 10% off for each title available in the sale. To see every game available in the sale, click here.
Some of the biggest games available on Xbox are discounted in this year’s Ultimate Game Sale. Tom Clancy’s The Division can be picked up for up to 33% off starting tomorrow, and The Witcher III: Wild Hunt will be up for grabs at half its usual asking price. Halo 5: Guardians will also be half off, and its REQ pack microtransactions are also going to be cheaper during the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale.

It seems that most of the games being discounted in the sale are for Xbox One, but as previously stated, Xbox 360 and PC gamers can get in on the action, too. There are quite a few games being discounted for Xbox 360, with many of them part of the Xbox One backward compatibility lineup. The discounts on Xbox 360 also seem to be steeper when compared to Xbox One, probably since most of the games on sale are much older.
PC gamers get the short end of the stick, with just over 30 games going on sale. However, it’s worth noting that Microsoft’s renewed interest in the PC gaming market is a relatively new initiative. It wasn’t until E3 2016 last month that Microsoft really became aggressive about PC gaming, with its Xbox Play Anywhere program allowing cross-buy and cross-play between Xbox One and PC. This time next year, it seems likely that PC gamers will have a lot more discounted games to choose from.
Currently, Microsoft’s gaming presence is being split between PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. For Xbox enthusiasts, it’s probably nice to see all three systems represented in the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale, and hopefully it means that everyone will be able to find a game they want to play for a low price.
