Walmart Xbox Series X Restock
The Xbox Series X was briefly available to purchase online at Walmart on December 15, when it was released alongside the Sony PlayStation 5. Walmart alerted customers on the same day, so gamers did not have much warning to try to get their hands on the next-gen consoles.
There are rumors that Walmart may have more stock of the PS5 on December 21 or December 28, which could also be true for the Xbox Series X. While there are no confirmed dates, any releases in the near future will likely be online, according to signs spotted at Walmart stores.
The Xbox Series X is currently listed on the website, which suggests it will be sold online, as the console was removed from Walmart.com when it was available in store.
Best Buy Xbox Series Restock
Best Buy restocked the Xbox Series X along with the PS5 on Tuesday. This time, gamers were warned a day in advance, though this didn’t help things run as smoothly as they should have.
Best Buy said the Xbox Series X console would become available sometime after 9 a.m. ET, but at that time the website crashed because of overcrowding.
When the site started working again, the Series X consoles quickly sold out. Best Buy will likely warn players before the next drop, so it would be worth following the retailer on social media. When Best Buy has more Xbox Series X consoles, they will be sold online and not in-store.
As with Walmart, when the Xbox console becomes available at Best Buy, it will only be available to purchase online.
Microsoft Store
The Xbox Series S was briefly available on the Microsoft Store on Wednesday, but not the Xbox Series X. @Wario64 on Twitter also announced this drop.
Although the Xbox Series X is currently sold out at the Microsoft Store, the website has an inventory tracker for Best Buy, GameStop, Target and Walmart, so you can keep tabs on which retailer has the console in stock.
